Step 1: Student Membership
Before you can start your journey toward earning your certification, you first need to obtain a Student Membership to the Construction Management Institute, which is free. (Other memberships have an annual fee).
Step 2: Choose Your Preferred Certification Type
The next step is to choose which certification areas and levels interest you most.
Step 3: Enroll On The Relevant Program
Under Student Membership you will be able to complete the program of your choice.
Step 4: Pass the Program and Upgrade to Regular Membership
Once you have passed the program's four online exams, you will be able to upgrade to Regular Membership and receive your certification via courier.
Step 5: Renew Your Certification or Upgrade to Expert and Master Levels
You will need to renew your certification every three years, which will require some continuing education credits, or you can choose to upgrade to Expert or Master by taking the relevant program.
